I'm baffled. Such is usually the case when Yahell is involved. I received a few emails over the weekend that some of my answers on Yahoo Answers were picked as best answers for 10 points each. Whoopee! That does nothing for me. I was at level 2 with a lot of ridiculous points needed to get to level 3. Whoopee! That doesn't impress me either, nor do I care. I just answer questions I can answer, and ponder where all these stupid people come from (not all of them are stupid, and not all of the questions are stupid, but a lot of the people are lacking a taco to complete their combination plate!). It's like airing your dirty laundry on a national TV show. Why?
So I log on and see that I'm listed as a top contributor at level 3 in Rodents. Huh? How? And When? I know when I made level 2 I got a Yahell email congratulating me. Whoopee! Like who cares? I didn't receive any emails about this news, and since I've got all these filters going, I'm not even sure if the mailbomber and jerkoff kid have stopped emailing me yet. I answer just as many questions that aren't about rodents, and I'm not a top contributor in that category. Could it be cause I stopped answering rodent questions asked by stupid people lacking common sense? It certainly couldn't have anything to do with my two emails to tech support questioning their lack of skills in the reading department, and pondering why yahell sucks so badly, now could it? So now I need a ridiculous amount of points to reach level 4, instead of level 3. Whoopee!
If I were going to post questions to YA, it would have to be:
Why is Yahoo so screwed up in just about every service it has to offer? Nothing every functions properly on there. Even their techs can't read full headers on email. How'd they get hired? If I'm really stupid and lack common sense can I get a job with tech support at yahell? Oh wait... that'll never happen since I have common sense and I am smart!
I'll be the first to admit that I don't like most people. It's taken me several decades to get to the point that I like myself, love myself, and think I turned out pretty ok, considering. Unfortunately many people don't learn from their mistakes, can't get over the things out of their control they can do nothing about, and people get tired of the same crap all the time. I'm very happy to spend time alone. I don't get bored since I have too much to do. If no one wants to listen to me, I have plenty of rats who care. I think people suck in general.
I know one person who can be phony and tolerate people they despise because it benefits her. I have a very hard time being phony. The only people I've successfully been phony with is family or in-laws. That's hard enough to do - and they're the worst when you tell them what they can go do and how they can go do it. They never believe you, or take a hint.
I know quite a few people who go out of their way to be taken advantage of repeatedly so they can say they have friends.
Sorry, two words I don't throw around are "friends" and "love." I can count my good friends on one hand, and I have lots of acquaintances, the majority I could care less about. I can't think of many people I admire, if any. The one I can think of is my daughter. For a young child to have gone through as much as she has in her short life, I think she's awesome. I know a few adults who should only be so lucky to be as smart as she is when it comes to perception and life skills, as well as being strong and resilient.
Thanks to the ineptness of Yahell, I'm moving my blog. I liked having everything under one roof, but I'm tired of stupid people. I've been mailbombed, tracked down and emailed, and had a total lack of support from Yahell when I sent them emails with complete headers. If a company can't give away their services for free, they certainly shouldn't bother putting a price on them either. In all my years on Yahell it has NEVER been problem free, or working properly. As they grow, they try and add on, and improve themselves. I think they're failing greatly and only care about their big name, high paying, advertisers. I'm tired of tracking cookies. I'm tired of spam. All in all, I'm allergic to stupid people, and allergy season is in full bloom!
